From the big cities to the small towns there is always always something new to discover. Realizing it or not, we learn something new every day. As much pride as we may have about where we are from or where we live, there is no one place better than the next. It is all subjective, a matter of preference. I believe they are all special and magnificent in their unique way.

Cities around the globe are ever-evolving with the times. Many have a population that is growing exponentially. Other cities are becoming more environmentally conscious, while others are focused on becoming technologically advanced. Even the small suburban and rural towns are becoming a bit more modern in an attempt to keep pace with the bigger cities around them.

As the population in large cities continues to increase, affecting industries and saturating them, suddenly we begin to see that the world is a bit smaller than we expected. Nonetheless, there are still many adventures and discoveries to be made. There are secret gems hidden in the nook and crannies that are not so popular. The places that seldomly cross the mind are usually the icing on the cake.

While the smaller suburban and rural towns may not receive much of the hype as do the more popular major cities across the globe, one should not take them for granted. They offer surprises of adventure and discovery in their own right. Many of these places are rich in history, traditions, and secret gems that may be completely unknown to a larger mass of people. Out of sight should not have to mean out mind. Sometimes the roads least traveled are the best adventures of all.
